The flooding of the basement of Marshall Field's posed numerous problems that their manager or key person in the company should be facing. One of these problems include proper planning on what actions they should take for them to be able to get their operations back from the flood incident the soonest time possible. The longer time spent on fixing the problem, the more profit they will lose, which might be a possible risk for company's loss.
Due to the flooding incident happened in Marshall Field's first and second basement, it caused them the quality of their goods and as well as damages on their machines which were used for processing of goods. The damaged good were being sold on lesser value to the merchants and their machines need to be sanitized before using them for operation. The situation already describe on the possible value the company will spend to cope up in
