Disconnect While On Vacation
Greg Kratz wrote an article about his balancing act of trying to disconnect from work while on vacation. He talks about how he recently took a Friday off and ended up with a 4 day vacation when combined with the weekend and the Independence Day holiday. He details how he spent his time: sleeping in everyday, an outing with his family, lunch with friends, a birthday celebration, and watching fireworks. He also detailed his work connect as: carried my work phone and checked it occasionally, but generally tried to stay away from work responsibilities and stresses.
