Australia is a young country that emerged from a particular fusion of cultures. It’s a new land with unique geography, a distinctive climate and food. A novel country suffused with novel citizens, formed by British colonizers, and their singular relationship with one of the most ancient living cultures.
Discovering Australia´s color will provide an accurate “visual synopsis” of its history, actuality, and uniqueness.
Developing a unique color system to act as a graphic identity is fundamental for the creation of an image of visual language; color is crucial in every field of communication and generally poorly attended with a serious determining approach.

The color study and its result will become an “authentic tool” for individuals and institutions in charge of making decisions regarding the world’s visual perception of Australia as well as for their own understanding of its importance.
This system can work as a unique asset that will contribute to the work of creators as well as to improve the country´s communication designed with an appropriate legible and readable application with specified rules to function like a color library on any platform.

I worked at the LBDI (Brasilian Industrial Design Laboratory) and completed an MFA Weiterbildung Course at the Wegerbeshüle für Gestaltung in Basel, Switzerland.
