Task Analysis: Task analysis is the process of learning about ordinary users by observing them in action to understand in detail how they perform their tasks and achieve their intended goals. For example, after you learn more about the client and their interest they can chose a local business that they would like to work on their work skills at. The Discovery Specialist will assist the client at the job site and coach them to help improve their work skills. After the Discovery Specialist and the client leave the work site they will evaluate the work site together and go over the tasks. Also what the client enjoyed or disliked in the process.
Employment Readiness: This section of the report can include making the
client an e-mail if they do not have one. This section can also include resume assistance, and dress to success prep. While working with the client work on interview skills any chance you get.
Job Shadowing: This section of the report will include any documentation on job shadowing that you have done with client, during the 90 day process period. Job shadowing is the name given to the opportunity for you to observe or “shadow” someone doing their job. A job shadow can be as simple as an hour-long visit with one person at a local business.
