Include at least 1 personal referee i.e. someone who will vouch for your character/integrity
Include at least 2 professional referees i.e. people who will vouch for your teaching competence and academic ability
Never include a referee without securing their permission to do so
There is no point in listing referees who are friends or relations. The more objective the referee, the greater creditability on their opinion.
The inability to make contact with referees is a major problem with interview boards, make sure your referees supply mobile telephone numbers and that they are contactable during holiday periods.

Racial connections between African-Americans and Asian-Americans have experienced both instances of solidarity and mistrust throughout histories of their encounters. Solidarity movements between the two groups existed, in an effort to combat U.S. discriminatory policies in the 20th century, as well as instances of racial tensions, such as African-American boycotts of Korean businesses in an effort to stand against racial discrimination. In an effort to secure resources and power, African-Americans and Asian-Americans have drifted apart in a racial divide. Asian and African-Americans, in their demand for resources and power, often collided in their interests. In the prospects of moving up the racial hierarchy, African-Americans and Asian-Americans…

During my Sophomore and Junior years in M.E.S.A. I participated in competitions and assisted other group members with thief projects. One competition was a hydropower wheel which my team and I constructed. We won 5th with the wheel despite the fact that during the competition it broke and was repaired only with a generous amount of duct tape. My Senior of M.E.S.A. as Vice President I helped to run and plan meetings as well as providing supervision to the underclass men groups. Mrs.Riso also had M.E.S.A. club this year go to a Walter Douglas assembly in which they were celebrating math achievements. We showed off some of our projects and I was in charge of talking to the elementary…

Imagine yourself as a beginning college freshman. The ideas that have always been roaming around your head are finally coming true. The independence, your own schedule, your own time. Your parents will finally see that you are a mature adult. However, with these same thoughts did you imagine that being an adult meant paying for everything on your own? 80% of all college students are employed while completing their undergraduate education (Riggert). Out of those 80% approximately 22% are working 20-34 hours per week. (Smith). Reading such information made me wonder if working full-time jobs would be detrimental or beneficial to a college student’s academic career.…
