Discuss what specific skills or experiences I hope to gain at business school
When I studied at high school, I started to consider about my future occupation. Then I decide to be a manager which occupation my friends or my parents said is fitting me, but the truth is I’m worried about this choice. Although I choose this occupation, I really confused what kind of job I could do in the future or do I fit to be a manager. Because of that, I decided to go to business school to learn some specific skills or experiences that I would need for my future plan. For this reason, I choose to go to GBC to study project management. I believe business school can offer an opportunity to make me recognize whether my future goal is right or not. And because I don’t have any experiences of my occupation, I hope after I study in GBC business school, I can utilize abundant resources from school to help me build my specific career planning like if I want to be company manager, what I should prepare from now to I graduate. Therefore, I hope I can have more job experiences; I can improve my communication skill; and I can accumulate the essential knowledge of business—how to be an eligible manager from business school.
To start with, the most basic and important point is I want to identify my career orientation by hand-on experiences. Such as what kind of works a manager have to do; what responsibilities a manager have to take; how to manage the employees; how to face the clients and so on. I can practice and find some jobs from the Career Center of school. According to practical experience in workplace, I can raise my adaptability and competitiveness. Meanwhile, I can realize the operation status of company and the industry. Besides that, I can building relationship between my future companies and school. I believe
