Discussion about one of my short-term and one of my long-term goals
It is very important to have goals in life. With goals, you can focus to archive results in your live. Without goals, someone will be clueless about his life. With this essay, I would like to describe one of my short-term and one of my long-term goals to show how important these goals are for me.
One of my short-term goals is a successful finish my education at Georgia Perimeter College. This is not only to develop my own knowledge and skills. Much more, a good result could open doors on other Universities, like Georgia Tech or Georgia State, for me. My plan is to transfer to one of these Universities for further education.
Success is a very important part in my life, in any case. I am not pleased when I cannot complete a given task successfully. Such uncompleted tasks can ruin my day or night. They bother me until they are finished. It mostly results in sleepless nights, because the problem is still stuck in my head, and I cannot let go before the task is successful completed. Therefore, I usually research the internet for other solutions, or I simply start to think again from the beginning. So far, this helped to solve the given tasks or problems.
I have the strong conviction that developing my skills here at Georgia Perimeter College will help me in my future to better, faster, and, easier complete given tasks or resolve problems the daily life brings with itself. I hope that after I successfully finish my education here at Georgia Perimeter College I will have the opportunity to transfer to either Georgia Tech or Georgia State to move forward to my next goal, my Bachelors Degree in Computer Science.
After completing this goal, I can move forward to work on my long-term goal. This long-term goal is either to start my own computer-based business. I could also think of working in my friends company. He owns a business that does web design, software development and, any kind of computer
