How to Plan a Trip to Walt Disney World
For most people, taking their family to Disney World is a major investment that requires an ample amount of preparation. However, with proper planning it can be an unforgettable trip that will create memories that will last a lifetime. The best way to plan a trip to Walt Disney World is to decide on the dates of the trip, arrange lodging and transportation, purchase tickets, and make dining reservations.
The first step in planning a dream vacation is to decide on the dates of the visit. This is a critical step to ensure the vacation is enjoyable for all. When choosing the dates, a person should consider many different factors. One important factor would be the weather. Disney World is located in Orlando,

When purchasing the tickets, the guest should decide on how many days to spend in the theme park and if they want to go to one of Disney’s waterparks. Considering there are four theme parks at Walt Disney World, most guest choose to spend about six full days exploring all the parks have to offer. Because all of the resorts at Disney World have several pools that are available for the guests use, most guests choose to only visit one of the waterparks during their stay. Along with the four theme parks and two waterparks, there is also Disney Springs, a shopping and entertainment district on Disney property, that does not require any type of theme park …show more content…
Sixty days prior to the arrival date of their trip, guests need to make their Fastpass Plus reservations. Fastpasses are a way in which guests can choose up to three rides that they wish to bypass the standby line for. This is a very important step considering most of the attractions at Disney World always have an extremely long wait. They can be made for any attraction or fireworks show throughout all of the theme parks. The Fastpasses are automatically linked to the guests Magic Band to use when the guests arrive at the attraction during their one-hour time slot.
The final step in planning a trip of a lifetime is to make dining reservations. This is a critical step in insuring the guests will get to enjoy some of the amazing food that Disney World had to offer. These can also be made on the Walt Disney World website and can be made up to 180 days prior to the guests’ arrival date. With over ____ restaurants to choose from, deciding which ones to eat at can be a daunting task. By checking the menus and reviews of each restaurant online, the process will be much more enjoyable.
By following these steps, any guests vacation to the “Happiest Place on Earth” is sure to be magical. Now, the only thing left for the guests to do is sit back, relax, and let the countdown to the best

“If you can dream it, you can do it.” This is a direct quotation from a man whose life’s work has carried on showing this is true. Walt Disney is an international icon who is widely known for his creation of the theme parks Disneyland and Disneyworld. While he proposed for many of the same concepts and themes to be embedded into both parks, there are just as many differences as there are similarities. Both were built with the intention to ignite the dream in all of us, but differ when it comes to things like history, location, and attractions.…

When I think of Disney World I see it as this monument that has a place in all childhood memories. These memories include a lot of happiness and most importantly, fun with the family. After all of the time that I took trips to Disney, I can still clearly see the smiling children gushing over their favorite Disney characters and the equally excited parents who had to speed walk just to keep up with them. Another memory that is evident, is that feeling of nerves a person feels when they’re about to get on a scary rollercoaster, but also that feeling of accomplishment that comes after once they’ve conquered it. Disney World represents home to me not only because of the great experiences that come with it, but because it is located in my hometown Orlando. I have to admit I do miss living there and knowing that Disney World is not too far away always gives me an excuse to visit. As a kid, I would always go on trips to Disney World and its image is a fond reminder of all those happy memories and easier…

Another very popular vacation destination is theme parks. Places like Disney World, Dollywood, Six Flags, Universal Studios and Sea World offer big doses of high energy family fun. Theme parks are most popular amongst families with small children. There are plenty of activities geared directly toward holding children’s interests. There is also something magical about theme parks that draws in adults. The sights, the sounds, but mostly the way they make them feel. They remind them of simpler times, like when they were children and didn’t have a care in the world. The benefit to these vacations is that they require very little planning. The only thing you have to plan is how to get there. Once you arrive at the theme…
