Disney's Most Successful Stars: Lindsay Lohan
I think it's a decision that every person should take consciously. the world is full of people who can induce you to evil or good, but you decide wich person to take as an example of life. As far as i am concerned, i would take someone who inspires me to change my life and my way og thinking, not someone who destroy my person.
For example, Lindsay Lohan is one of Disney's most successful stars, but she was arrested for driving in an alcoholic state. She attended rehabilitation clinics for drugs, was in prision and eluted toxicological tests. Time later, she seemed to have changed but then started taking undue photos to post them on a social page, i am nobody to judge but, how could you take advice from a person like her?

When reading Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer as it documents the journey Chris McCandless took and watching the movie The Grizzly Man as it documents Timothy Treadwell’s journey to document bears I was struck by how similar the two men, McCandless and Treadwell, really were. Yes, there were a great many differences between the two but also by how similar they were. While both men showed how they hated modern society and felt a strong desire to live outside of our society, they both also had very different takes on Alaskan wilderness and how to survive in their journeys. Just as both loved the outdoors, however, the two had very different practices concerning it. Treadwell would return to society every summer to work and prepare for his next outing and Treadwell refused to take a gun with him. In contrast, McCandless spent all of his time outdoors and away from human society unless he absolutely needed to and carried a gun with him into the wilderness.…

Imagine being jolted awake in the middle of the night only to see a ghostly figure staring at you by the foot of your bed. This is what many people witness while staying at the Myrtles Plantation Bed and Breakfast located in beautiful St. Francisville, Louisiana (Nickell 12). The Plantation house is split into two parts, a museum and sleeping quarters for the brave guests who dare to stay the night (Rule 238). The Myrtles Plantation is known as one of “America’s Most Haunted Houses,” thanks to the ten gruesome murders that occurred in the house (Lewis G10). I would first have to examine the people in question (98). If I somehow knew that the five-year-old girl could grow up to be a doctor and save lives and the other five people were all just crack heads who did not contribute to society, I would save the one life. However, if they were all equal, then I would save the five lives. I ultimately want the people of the world to have many productive skills that they can utilize to make the world a better place.…

Human services is a broad field that includes many types of agencies and organizations that deal with many aspects of human needs; ethics and ethical management are important in the success of providing services for every provider. These items guide services including elder care, child abuse, unemployment, social security, disability, welfare, food stamp benefits, domestic abuse, mental health treatment, and many more. Regardless of the subdivision within the field of human services, ethics and ethical management will be tested. While dealing with individuals recovering from the use and abuse of substances including alcohol and other drugs, ethics and ethical leaderships are especially important. In the case of working with clients who have previously been addicted to substances, it will be likely that morals and values have not guided many of their decisions, but that is not to say that they do not have any. Almost everyone is guided by some set of principles; some may just not understand how to apply them to certain areas of their lives. Drug addicts and alcoholics will need to learn that their behavior is no longer only affecting them but that it is affecting many others around them including friends, family members and even coworkers. Being an ethical manager and assisting a client in this area will contribute to the success of the organization.…

Over the course of the past 80 years we have seen major growth in the company of Disney and the way it presents itself to the rest of the world. One of the many ways Disney presents itself is by the animated films they produce, more specifically, the princess films, that we all know and love. In this paper, I will explore the role and functions of the Disney princesses over the past 80 years and discuss their differences. In particular, the femme fatales we see when Walt Disney was in charge, and how it is the princess rather than the hero who becomes the central figure in these films. On the other side, I will look at Team Disney and how they turn the princesses from damsels to more democratic.…

The most important factor in why people choose to do something is the outcome of what he or she is doing. When someone does something they usually think ahead because they want to know if what they are doing is going to react in a negative or in a positive manner. Some people choose to do something because of how it will make them feel instead of how it will effect them and their life. But, even though some people choose to do something based on how it will make them feel inside, most people do things because they want something out of it, even if it is not always good.…

People decide to do everything, they choose which path to take, and choose the consequences or rewards associated with their decisions. Surprisingly many do not know “when you have a decision to make, the standard advice is to think everything through and weigh the pros and cons and reason your way to the right choice.” Many people just react without thinking, it is human nature to follow the impulses felt, but no one ever stops to think what bad things may occur from their idiotic choices. Especially in today’s society, every single decision made can lead to a person’s destruction or even death, the free will humans posses is something of use for good but many abuse it and end up hurting their fate more than helping…
