P1- Describe the meaning of diversity in today’s society
Diversity means to take into account and celebrate everyone’s differences. Each person is an individual and that should be honoured. Everyone looks different, has different views and opinions and is part of a different culture and religion. No two people are the same. ‘People are only as different as we make them out to be. We choose which characteristics we want to highlight mostly based on what we’re comfortable with.
