Each student has to post at least one main posting by WEDNESDAY 11:59 p.m., of each week and respond to all assigned discussion topics by FRIDAY, 11:59 p.m., leaving time for you to respond to postings of classmates between Saturday and Sunday’s close of the week. You must participate at a minimum of 3 days of the week. This minimal posting is necessary, but not sufficient, in order to earn a good evaluation.
Use standard English spelling and capitalization conventions. Conferences are not chat sessions. Do not use all caps. It indicates shouting. Do not use all lower case. Make sure that your responses are in readable paragraphs, not in one large block of text that is difficult to read.
Edit Carefully. Your task is to write each post so that it is the best marketing vehicle possible for your thoughts, ideas, and analysis, in fulfillment of the assignment. Try not to use clichés and overused openings such as dictionary definitions (not particularly good sources of business term definitions anyway). Please check your responses before you post them. Also, make sure that your response is in the conference. No excuses about "my response not getting into WebTycho." Do not sign off until you see that your response is there.
References – it is important to do your research before making a main posting. Just as in previous seminars, you have to use library resources to support your postings. Please do not quote Wikipedia – it might be a good resource when you need some quick initial info about something, but it is not a good resource for any academic posting or paper. Use academic journals, industry publications, and corporate websites. Provide all your
