I played all types of video games, but my brother was the one who would choose the games and he would choose a violent game that we played together. It was very intriguing and the more that I played I got addicted to because I thought it was a fun game. In times I would get frustrated because I could not pass a level, my temper began to have a change. After a while I grew out of playing so many games. However, there are people that play so much and for longer periods of time. Most likely I would say that it does depend on the type of game you play and how much you get into it. There are games that could improve your skills and improve your way of reacting fast. Also games like being a soldier could interest some people in wanting to become one which I have seen happen.
Even though, video games could in a way benefit someone I will still stick to the point that in my opinion violent video games could cause aggressive behavior. Just like my nephew, the improvement in the graphics, and from my experience have all directed me to agree with the statement. Overall, I believe that the amount of time a person plays and the type of game it is will make a difference in their behavior. In short, even if it is possible to get something good out of it I will still stick to my own opinion that video games do cause violent
