Do we learn from our mistakes rather than or success
Throughout life we all experience things in our lives that shape us and identify who we are. It is believed that we learn more from making mistakes rather than from our successful actions because we're only human. Learning from our mistakes lets us know what we did wrong so we can fix it. We need to learn from our mistakes so we do not repeat them and so that we learn a lesson from it.
Learning from our mistakes is essential to our growth so that we do not run the risk of repeating them. We must develop the wisdom and sense to make good decisions and choices. Good judgment will only develop if you truly learn from your mistakes. Unfortunately, for many people, it takes a few repeats of the same mistake to learn the lesson. You can only learn from the problems if you recognize the fact that you messed up. Too many people remain in denial and place the blame on others, instead of considering what they can do to help theirselves. The minute you take responsibility for your mistake is when the success really begins. If we try hard to avoid mistakes, we aren't open to getting the information we need in order to do better. We don't just learn more when we're open to mistakes, we learn to be humble and more understanding. Learning lessons from our mistakes goes hand-in-hand with having good or bad judgement. Bad judgment seems to stick with us longer as a lesson learned because we really do not want to keep repeating it. Wisdom is the knowledge you can gain from making mistakes. Good judgment on learning from your mistake will allow you to not repeat the same mishap more than once. When we acknowledge a mistake without drama, without excuses, and without shaming ourselves we can move on to the important tasks correcting the mistake and finding ways to prevent it from happening again and that is the biggest lesson that can be learned from making a mistake. Mistakes help us keep ourselves in perspective, to really learn and grow. We often learn more by being wrong for the right reasons than by being right for the wrong reasons. Learning lesson from mistake making can lead everyone directly into not repeating that same mistake.
It is said said. “The greatest mistake you can make in life is to be continually fearing you will make one.”

In this article, they list different quotes from different people. Samuel Smiles, a 19th century Scottish author says, “We learn wisdom from failure much more than from success. We often discover what will do by finding out what will not do; and probably he who never made a mistake never made a discovery.” His words are true in the way that most of the time, people make mistakes before big discoveries, while people who make 0 mistakes, make 0 discoveries. Martin Tupper, 19th century English writer, says, “Error is a hardy plant, it flourisheth in every soil.” He’s right. No matter where you look, you will see mistakes and error, just like you can find plants in a lot of…

However, the judgment of regret is a person’s way of reflecting one’s actions and regret is the first step in the conditions that determine his future conduct. It is commendable and justified and this “judgment of regret” paves the way for a moral direction of action for the future, not because one realizes that the past could have happened in a different way. The recognition of a wrongdoing is an innate response to what we have done. It is not a form of punishment we inflict upon ourselves. It is only through regret or remorse that we learn to make amends.…

In conclusion, Lewis Thomas was correct when expressing the reality of mistakes in life. Everything transforms from mistakes to successes. This is partially because people hate to be wrong. It frustrates them and makes them want to improve. By learning from past mistakes, the process of trial and error presents opportunities to achieve. However, achievement cannot be made without utilizing the key step of the process, which is the move taken after the mistake is made. Through the mistakes people make, I learn life's most valuable lessons. My friends understood my philosophy but they saw me as soulless for seeing people’s mistakes as good. As a child, I watched the mistakes my relatives made within their families, which caused their children to be taken into custody. Although I felt sorry for the family at the time, I made sure I used their mistakes to direct my path. I never would want my family to be at a continuous feud. To me, not making mistakes is the biggest mistake one can make. My parents, especially, made many errors that resulted in them not being as successful. Therefore, I dream to obtain a profitable career and live an accomplished life so I won't encounter the same potholes people around me fell…
