Dog Comparison: Cooper Vs. Cooper

I have never thought that dogs greatly differed from each other. Dogs have always seemed so simple, one is friendly, the other is not, one is big, the other is not. That was my mindset on dogs until I got a puppy last year. My family made the decision to add to our family, plus the dog we already had could have used a friend. We were looking for a puppy that would be easy to work with. Since we already acquired Cooper, a basset hound, who was incredibly easy to take care of and own, we have decided to get a puppy of the same breed, of course assuming that the new family member would be just as easy to have as having Cooper. One would assume that two animals of the same type would at least somewhat look the same. Well, that is not the case with these two creatures. Cooper is big and wide, he is overweight, he has very floppy skin, and he has fat and skin rolls all over his body. He has very short, fat legs, with big white paws, my family and I call them his boots, additionally, he acquires short ears a very short tail. Moreover he has big and droopy eyes that do not fully close when he lays down. Furthermore he is orange and white, he has a white belly, white legs, white face, and a white tail tip. Everything else on this dog is orange, orange ears, orange tail, orange back. Molly, on the other hand, is small and thin, she is underweight, and does not have any body rolls, her skin is very tight on her. At the same time, Molly has long and skinny legs, she is above average in her height for a Basset Hound. Likewise she has really long ears and an extremely long tail. Equally important, she has regular sized eyes, that are almost too small for her breed. Finally, Molly has a mixture of three colors: black, orange, and white. She has a black back that is coupled with a white neck. Her front and back legs are white with little black spots on them.
