Dolphins inhabit a large range of the world oceans, most dolphins live in the shallow waters of the oceans because when they give birth their baby dolphins can swim. There are lesser-known species of dolphins that live in the rivers of the world located in China, South America, India, Pakistan, and Southeast Asia. Their food depends on what season it is, for example in the spring and summer there are big juicy salmon for them to eat. In the winter months there is food for them like herring and mackerel. Kinds of dolphins like bottlenose dolphins living somewhere else may feed on more tropical species of fish or tuck into an octopus or squid.
