Dolphins are fascinating creatures, and known as mammals of the sea because of their ability to breathe air and they are warm-blooded and the fact about how they are extremely intelligent.
As we discuss the intelligence of dolphins, it is important to note they have been around for more than 50 million years and around 35 million years their intelligence advanced to the use of echolocation and social behavior as well as letting them think metaphorically.
Dolphin intelligence allows them to think metaphorically. The brain size of dolphins is on average, about the same size as ours. But dolphins are much bigger than humans—so our brains are actually larger, according to the size of our bodies, than dolphins’ brains are! An appropriate IQ test to measure dolphin intelligence does not exist. It is impossible to fully figure out this animal's level of intelligence in this manner. But another way which has been suggested to measure intelligence is by determining the measure of relative brain size defined as the ratio between actual brain mass and predicted brain mass for an animal of a given size. This is called the "encephalization quotient", or EQ. This measurement suggests
