Donald Trump A Good President
Roses are red, violets are blue, I dislike Trump, how about you? If I had the opportunity to vote for Donald Trump, I would kindly decline. Donald Trump would not be a good asset to our government. Mr. Trump has made several offensive accusations and has offended civilians. Now, why would one want to have a president that offends everyone that has a different opinion? Therefore, No, Donald Trump should NOT be our next president.

As we all know, Donald J. Trump has no verbal filter once so ever. He acts as though it is physically impossible for him to keep his mouth closed. Trump has said highly offensive things towards other competitors and even civilians! During an interview with Bloomberg, Trump gave his opinion about the September

As you may know, Trump blames everything on others. He believes that laziness is a trait in "blacks." How can this be proven? He has not met every African-American to prove that laziness is common among them. Trump also attempted to bring down his rival, Hilary Clinton, by saying, "If Hilary can't satisfy her husband, then what makes her think she can satisfy America?" How rude! He should not have brought her personal life into the situation. Mr. Trump also accused the majority of Hispanics of being rapists and drug dealers. Where does he get such absurd ideas? Donald once tweeted, via his Twitter account, "Sadly, the overwhelming amount of violent crime in our major cities is committed by blacks and Hispanics- a tough subject -must be discussed." So, he basically blamed all violence in major cities in America on African-Americans and Hispanics. He once said, " A women's place is in the bedroom, not the boardroom." That was a very sexist comment made by Trump. Trump is just a bundle of …show more content…
Apparently, Trump was not taught that. In November of 2015, New York Times reporter, Serge Kovaleski, was rudely mocked by presidential candidate, Donald Trump. Mr. Kovaleski has a condition called arthrogropsis, which limits mobility within the arms. When asked about Kovaleski, Trump stated that he did not know anything about him. At one of Trump's rallies, he said, "I merely mimicked what I thought would be a flustered reporter trying to get out of a statement he made long ago. If Mr. Kovaleski is handicapped, I would not know because I do not know what he looks like. If I did know, I would definitely not say anything about his appearance." There is video footage of Trump mocking Serge Kovaleski. How do you feel about this situation? This is just another instance where Trump does not care who he offends or how he does

In Charles Blow’s “Failing All Tests of the Presidency” (2017) he asserts his opinion that Trump is not acting as a true president and he is merely holding a place for an actual president to arrive and replace him. Blow communicates this by saying “Donald Trump is a man of flawed character and a moral cavity,” and “His interests center on the self; country be damned.” He exaggerates all of Trump’s flaws without regard to the truth that, maybe he has done something good while in office. He does this in attempts to force his hatred of Donald Trump onto others that might already not support him. Charles Blow employs his hatred of Trump and writes very controversial articles to everyone who is indifferent or not in support of Donald Trump.…

On June 16th at his very own Trump Tower in New York City, Donald Trump announced that he would be running for president. It was only thirty seconds into his speech when Trump committed his first fallacy. In an attempt to insult the intelligence of his fellow GOP candidates, he compared their incompetence toward air conditioners to their supposed inability to beat ISIS. “They didn’t know the air-conditioner didn’t work,” “How are they going to beat ISIS?” This is a bad example fallacy due to his use of an example that fails to prove the conclusion and has little connection to it. Despite the complete lack of relation between Trump’s example and his conclusion, he was still able to provoke the audience into feelings of contempt toward the other…

On June 16, 2015, in the extravagant Trump Tower of New York City, Donald John Trump announced his candidacy for the 2016 presidency. While most Americans raised their eyebrows in bewilderment, comedians erupted in a dance that Happy Feet would envy. His bombastic personality, amorphous hair, and poorly photographed facial expressions have become some of the most popular political punchlines. Critics dissect his statements and possible solutions until they seem unrealistic, and some are, like building a “YUGGEEE” wall to separate America and Mexico. While Trump is one of the most successful men in America, he is portrayed in media to be an ignorant idiot by YouTubers, comedy writers, and even respected…

Donald Trump has problems with connecting with several groups of people. His public image is tainted for his bigotry, inciting violence at his rallies, lack of respect for Women, (comments made about Megyn Kelly), Mexicans who he called rapists and Muslims who he wants to deport. Leaders of the Jewish Community planned a boycott of Trump’s speech at the AIPC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee) for his…

Firstly, an exploration of Trump’s life experiences, and the relationship he had with his father will highlight experiences that contributed to his personality complexion. Trump was born in 1946, the fourth child of five children of Frederick and Mary Trump. Throughout the course of his childhood, Trump displayed a high aptitude for leadership, and demonstrated this in his relationships with family, friends, and peers. He also displayed very assertive and aggressive tendencies during elementary school, which resulted in his parents sending him to military school at the age of thirteen (Trump, 1987). It was here that Trump learned the art of ‘playing people’ and this would be an important contributor to his…

For example, the Justice Department sued Trump’s real estate company twice for not allowing black people to rent his apartments. The company gave different rental terms and conditions to black people that were unfair. The company also lied to them, saying their were no rooms available. During the presidential debates, Donald was asked about those claims and responded saying how an abundance of other companies have done that as well, as if that makes it okay for a future president to do so. In addition, Donald also attacked Muslim gold star parents verbally. Their son had died serving in the Iraq War. After the father gave a speech at the Democratic National Convention Trump said, “ If you look at his wife, she was standing there. She had nothing to say. She probably, maybe she wasn’t allowed to have anything to say. You tell me.”(Marans, “Here Are 13 Examples Of Donald Trump Being Racist). This remark is racist without a doubt and the effect of these examples are scary. He also accused Hillary Clinton of writing a script for the father which is rude and disrespectful. Donald Trump is a racist because of his indirect controversial…

This speech began as epideictic, with a brief mention of his condolences for the families and the lives lost, and included a moment of silence. However, the remainder of his speech turned to a more deliberative type of oratory, which is also known as political rhetoric. This type of rhetorical setting addresses topics such as war and peace, national defense, trade, and legislation, to assess what is harmful and beneficial (Herrick, 2016). During his speech, Trump delivered self-congratulatory comments, political attacks, and strove to instill fear of terrorism. His speech was used an opportunity to spread suspicion and to frame himself as uniquely positioned to make the country safer. There was no sincere outreach to the American public, and the facts he presented did not appear to match the rhetoric.…

Trump was responding to actress Meryl Streep, who criticized the incoming president in a speech at Golden Globes. Compared to the other articles this one appears to be slightly more credible and shows minimal biases as it provides evidence and views both sides of the argument portray. The intentions geared toward the audience are of those who simply want to be aware of the general idea of the crisis but are also on the slightly bias side of supporting the video evidence and that he was responsible. “President- elect Donald trump again denied mocking a reporter for a physical disability in a series of tweets on Monday, even though he clearly appears to have done so while on the campaign trail in 2015.”(Dana Liebelson) , the author summarizing the general idea of the events provides insight on a series of tweets Donald trump was responsible for contradicting the video evidence of him “clearly” doing so during his campaign trail in 2015. Evidence pertaining to the impact left on the reader and society is the fact that trump previously stated that he would never mock a person with a disability because he spends “millions a year, or millions of dollars on ramps, and get rid of the stairs and different kinds of elevators all over”(Dana…

These instances where people are being physically and verbally harmed has all been happening before Trump even stepped foot in the oval office. So what makes you think this loose cannon of a man won’t throw a tantrum and set war with anyone who isn’t on his train? How could you vote for a person who had his own reality TV show? He even appeared on WWE for goodness sake. But back to all seriousness, the reasons that this man is at the position he is now is because of his wealth and popularity. He’s a businessman, he doesn’t have the morals of what a president should have.…

I still think we need to be politically correct in cases. If you are a candidate in the presidential campaign, you have a platform where your voice is heard. In this case, Donald Trump says things that are racial or religiously charged and are so distant from the issue at hand. Specifically, he wanted to ban Muslims and his narrative here was that it is “not politically correct, but I don’t care.” It is baffling to me that he can say a statement like that when there are approximately 3.3 million Muslims living in the United States (2015). How can a national leader disregard a group of people? He uses it as a tactic to build the ‘us versus them’ description. He uses the idea that terrorism and torture exists because we try to be politically correct. I do not think that is why those issues exist. This entire article has examples of insensitivity. I completely disagree with the childhood friend of Brock Turner; he committed the heinous act of rape thus, he is a rapist. This is not offensive it is the truth. I wonder how Donald Trump has the ability to garner such support when he is “spewing offensive speech.” His supporters have to buy into his ideals. The ‘make America great again,’ movement is a chance to “say whatever the hell you want.” The world has changed and there is no need to reverse it. We as a society need to have some semblance of politically correctness whether everyone…
