Donald Trump Informative Speech
On August 16, 2016 I went to go see one of the Presidential candidates and now President elect Donald Trump speak in West Bend, Wisconsin. Along with the President elect, our Governor Scott Walker spoke before him as well as former mayor of New York to warm up the crowd before Mr. Trump came on stage. Before Mr. Trump finally came on stage I, as well as the friend I was accompanied by took in the lights, stage, music, crowd, and everything else that came with the atmosphere of the evening. The only thing that seemed to be a blunder was that he was over an hour late coming on at 9pm instead of 8. Being who I am, he lost a little credibility with me but i chalked it up as being out of his control giving him the benefit of the doubt.
The stage was well lit with

However I did notice one song called “You can't always get what you want” by the Rolling Stones which seemed a little fitting in all that was the mantra of Trump’s campaign. When he came out he immediately gave the awaiting crowd a wave and flashed a huge smile as we was walking to his podium positioned in the center of the stage. He allowed the crowd to get through a thunderous applause and well as the chanting of his name, “Trump.” When he eventually asked how we were doing tonight. What I noticed all throughout his speech was that he either asked his audience questions or would allow for verbal communication or applause. This allowed him to keep his audience always very engaged in what he had to say in what seemed as the audience always ready to answer his next proposed question. His main agenda that he talked about was inner cities as well as the safety of public schools. This especially stuck a certain chord in me because of my great desire to become an educator. He opened with a lot of statistics regarding shootings, graduation rates, and other things that had to tie in with safety in schools

He warmingly starts off by thanking some former presidents, “President Carter, President Clinton, President Bush, President Obama....”, the American people especially, and everyone around the world for his election win. His voice is very direct and to the point when he states how he would approach the nation as a whole: “We, the citizens of America, are now joined in a great national effort to rebuild our country and to restore it's promise for all of our people”. When it comes to communication, Donald Trump had a very unique approach. He does not “play it safe” at all. Instead, he is bold and rather casual in debates, and it works. Donald Trump is appealing to a younger crowd beginning with his communication strategy. He talks like he is in high school. He uses his words in a clear way where everyone can comprehend the message he is trying to get across. While it could potentially and did in fact offend people who find themselves more sophisticated, it appealed to the average person. Also, he has sort of mastered exploiting whoever his current opponent is. He proclaims whatever he wants about them, not paying much attention to the truth. For anyone who feels that they have lack of power or are voiceless,…

Good morning everyone today I will talk about why Donald Trump should not be elected president of the United States. I think Donald Trump will never be elected president of U.S.A as he is making all of these crazy ideas like proposing to build a wall between Mexico and America and making Mexico pay for it. He also always thinks he is correct and has a hard time admitting that he is wrong. He plans to ban all Muslims until he knows what is going on and better security precautions are made.…

Trump became President of the United States of America. For the past year, the nation’s news channels have been flooded with information and video on President Trump. This made it no surprise how his Inaugural Address was going to go. Like most Presidents before him, he started out the speech by acknowledging the former Presidents, and other distinguished guessed at the ceremony. After saying thank you to President Obama and his family, President Trump did not waste any time getting down to business. He started going into detail about how it did not matter who won the election, because it always seemed the people always lost. That Washington, and those politicians have been basking in the glory of all their success, but the citizens of the United States of America were the ones suffering. “Today’s ceremony, however, has very special meaning. Because today we are not merely transferring power from one Administration to another, or from one party to another – but we are transferring power from Washington DC and giving it back to you, the people.” (Trump) This is the first of three times in his speech that President Trump talks about…

On August 26th, IHCDA is will be hosting the Indiana Housing Conference at the J.W. Marriott and are pleased to announce that our keynote speaker will be the distinguished photographer, Tom Casalini. We wanted to highlight his background before discussing his current project we are looking to showcase. Tom attended Indiana University and New York Institute of Photography. After working in Georgia for a period of time, he eventually returned to Indiana as Indiana’s official state photographer. ‘Ordinary Heroes’ and ‘Famous Hoosiers’ are a couple galleries that he has previously completed which attest to his ability to portray symbolic figures on a personal level. In his piece ‘Ordinary Heroes’ he captures the individuality of Medal of Honor recipients and highlights who they are as people in street clothes, just as normal people who have performed admirable services of duty for their country. In his piece ‘Famous Hoosiers’ he captured Indiana natives like Kurt Vonnegut Jr., Fuzzy Zoeller, John Mellancamp, John Wooden, Jim Davis and more to celebrate some of the most acclaimed Hoosiers and their way they represent Indiana through their industries. Tom has a studio in Zionsville we were able to catch up with him at and talk to him about…
