While discussing Trump’s business acumen Epstein felt it was necessary to establish that business success doesn’t correlate to political success, however, the two are not mutually exclusive and Trump could be multi-talented. The article also felt it was necessary to mention that Epstein had never read Trump’s book, it also then goes on to criticize the book by stating he has no interest in reading “The Art of the Deal.” This unnecessary and critical comment further enforces the idea that Epstein believes Trump is not fit to be president. In the concluding paragraph Epstein cements the idea that financial success does not transfer to political success. He then goes on to criticize Trump calling him arrogant and claiming his business prowess won’t transfer to his political career. Some of these statements may be based off of truth, but, to be a subjective article one can not put personal opinion in their…

In“Trump’s Bluster Is Heard Around the World,” an article published on Yahoo! Politics by Gregory Katz, sarcastic tone and vivid descriptions portray Donald Trump as a selfish human being to manipulate readers he will not be a good president. Katz’s sarcastic and criticizing tone adds to the negative view of Trump presented in this article;“His is clearly a recognized name worldwide, which is not to say it's a beloved one.” Katz then proves this point by quoting individuals from around the world. In the first description of Trump, a woman who lives next to a Trump resort calls Trump a spoiled “strange fish.” She then describes his toddler-like tantrums, causing an image of diaper wearing Trump whining and flopping for what he wants to pop into our heads. Katz’s next proof is a video of Mexican comedians dressed as Donald Trump performing an act written from his statements. The comedians are all wearing fake guts, Neanderthal clothing, and blonde wigs. Katz writes, “It's striking how many people know of him at all,” as if Trump is some new American celebrity who is just now getting attention for his statements. It is almost impossible to not recognize the Trump name. His name is on everything he owns, and he owns buildings, programs, and boats worldwide. Trump had been known by the world way before he decided to run for president. To end the article and finish his characterization of Trump, Katz writes,“That would be one side of Trump that few if any have seen — one who says ‘sorry’.” Like Buzzfeed and Alphacat, Katz includes mockery of Trump so viewers will chuckle at their possible leader. This humor alongside Katz’s sarcastic and condescending tone alarm readers that Trump is well known, not well…

Could you have ever imagined the day where Donald Trump, a businessman and television personality, would be in the running for the 2016 Presidential Nomination? If you did not, you are probably thinking how did he get as far as to become the Republican Party nominee. Was it just for laughs at the beginning or are people voting for him because they actually do believe he can “make America great again”? Could there be one soul reason as to why people are voting for him? Many people think that it is because of the economy that Trump is getting votes. Author, Jennifer Rubin wrote an article on her blog, The Right Turn, for The Post, “Trump’s Entire Economic Narrative is a Hooey” where she elaborates her opinion on whether or not the economy collapsing is one the main reasons Trump is getting votes. Rubin…

For example, the Justice Department sued Trump’s real estate company twice for not allowing black people to rent his apartments. The company gave different rental terms and conditions to black people that were unfair. The company also lied to them, saying their were no rooms available. During the presidential debates, Donald was asked about those claims and responded saying how an abundance of other companies have done that as well, as if that makes it okay for a future president to do so. In addition, Donald also attacked Muslim gold star parents verbally. Their son had died serving in the Iraq War. After the father gave a speech at the Democratic National Convention Trump said, “ If you look at his wife, she was standing there. She had nothing to say. She probably, maybe she wasn’t allowed to have anything to say. You tell me.”(Marans, “Here Are 13 Examples Of Donald Trump Being Racist). This remark is racist without a doubt and the effect of these examples are scary. He also accused Hillary Clinton of writing a script for the father which is rude and disrespectful. Donald Trump won his presidency over Hilary Clinton, winning the electoral vote but losing the popular vote by around 2.9 million votes. Knowing that the majority of Americans did not want Trump as President, it would make sense for Trump to handle the office with care, and work to gain the trust of the Americans who did not want him as their President. In the short 48 days since Trump has been President, it is safe to say that he does not care about the opinions of those who did not vote for him and those that did vote for him. He signs executive orders and appoints nominees without consideration. He makes every move based on his priorities, and not the rest of America.…

If you look at our current candidates for the presidential elections for 2016, people like Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump have millions of dollars donated to them so they can campaign for certain laws and goals. With the money received from supporters, these candidates are able to continue their campaign for presidency while other people like Rick Perry had to drop out because he had no more funds. To me, whoever has the most money and support from businesses are more likely to get government positions. Furthermore, if you look at the controversial candidate Donald Trump, I only think he has a high stand in the presidential race because he was already a powerful and rich businessman prior to his declaration in joining. Trump is a billionaire and his status in the business world as well as his connections propels him to have a better chance to become one of the finalists in the race, at least that is what I believe. If businesses did not play a factor in elections, campaigns would be much more modest and Trump would most likely not be in a favorable light to…
