Only nine years old, she was abducted by a white or Hispanic man driving a dark truck, while Amber was screaming for her life. Neighbors who witnessed the kidnapping called 911 reporting that she had been pulled off of her bike and thrown into a random male’s truck. After extensive searches through woods, waterways and other possible hiding spots, Amber’s body was found four days later in Northern Arlington. This article speaks of Clara Harris, who was arrested 14 years ago, February 14, 2003. After hiring Blue Moon Investigations to keep track of her husband, she discovered that he was cheating on her. Her response to this news was to repeatedly run her husband over with her car, as her step-daughter sat in the passenger seat, witnessing the horror. Harris may have gotten away with murder, if it had not been for the video taken by the Investigators she hired. She then was sentenced to prison for 20 years and fined $10,000. This past Friday was her third chance at parole and it was granted, following the completion of an unnamed program.…

“Suffragettes,” “property,” and “non-persons.” Such suggested as the British North America Act specifying that all women were not seen as people in the eyes of the British law. Women were unqualified to vote, own land, and run an office since women were persons in “matters of pains and penalties, but not in matters of rights and privileges” (Mitchell 29) according to the BNA Act. Due to the lack of government, this got the attention of five women activists around Canada who recognized the inequality between…
The eager research subject one Dr. Jane Beringer’s background raises key concerns for the Institutional Review Board members either to vote for or against. Top on the consideration points are the factors that might have lead and influenced her to offer herself as a subject for the research. Importantly, it is crucial to note that Dr. Beringer may have not been sober enough to make the decision. I find it so because of her health condition and the aging factor. The 62 - year-old scientist might have arrived at this decision through frustration with life. Having spent her better part of her life in the biology class need to be examined both of her emotional and mental situations before the proposal is considered. Someone who…
