Most people don’t wonder “What will I do if the world as we know it today just disappears?”, but for others, it’s was they do everyday of their lives. On the show Doomsday Preppers, these so-called “preppers” are getting ready for something that most people think will never happen. That something is the the end of the world. On this show, the preppers are teaching their families what to do incase that happens. The families are being taught various things that this essay will explain. Some of the lessons are completely agreeable, while others are a bit out there. Some reasonable lessons why children need to be taught are how to react and stay calm when natural disasters occur; while lessons that are taught on the show Doomsday Preppers like teaching a young child how to shoot a gun and be prepared for a post-apocalyptic zombie attack is quite unreasonable. The National Geographic channel says that “Doomsday Preppers explores the lives of otherwise ordinary Americans who are preparing for the end of the world as we know it. Unique in their beliefs, motivations, and strategies, preppers will go to whatever lengths they can to make sure they are prepared for any of life’s uncertainties.” The show only focuses on a certain amount of peeople, but there are millions of people across the world preparing for these things to happen. While doing research, an online blog popped up while searching and it was about a six year old girl blogging about her life because she is a doomsday preppers. That is just sad, this girl is six years old and has to worry about the world ending. In one of her blogs that she named “My family ate my pet rabbit today :(“ she mentioned that he dad made her and her sister run drills on how to make traps in her backyard. This one trap as you could probably tell was for rabbits. She though her trap was better than her sisters, so her dad tired it out on her pet rabbit. That
