Doors To Freedom Case Study
Charleston, SC (October 2, 2017) – Doors to Freedom is pleased to announce it has received a grant for nearly $300,000 from the Victims of Crime Act grant distributed through the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office. The allocation of these grant funds shows the commitment of the Attorney General’s Office to support survivors of sex trafficking. The funds will begin to be distributed in October.
These funds will allow Doors to Freedom to expand its day program to a fully operational residential home for female, domestic, minor survivors of sex trafficking. The residential home is projected to open in January 2018, and up to 10 survivors will be able to be in the home at any given time.
