In the book The Strange Case Of Dr.Jekyll And Mr.Hyde Dr.Jekyll is torn between good and evil. The idea has been well discussed in the real world that we all have a split personality that for most of us if there weren't any consequences we would act on that duel personality. The book portrays the ongoing battle between morals and ethics, just how important image and the opinion of others affects our personalities and decisions.
