B. Story:
The Red Ribbon Army (a non-organized military crime organization) that was planning to wish for world domination with the dragon balls, however this fails because of Goku, as a kid Goku stopped this entire organization, Goku thought it was all over but it wasn't Dr. Gero survived and is really for vengeance against Goku. Unlucky for Dr.Gero, Future Trunks a future son of Vegeta and Bulma, came from the future to worn Goku of the androids plans, and gave him pills for a virus he died from in his world.
After dr.Gero turned himself into a android to become stronger, Dr. Gero realized that he was being followed by Gokus friends Future Trunks, Vegeta, Krillin, Yamacha, Tien, Chiaotzu, Gohan and Piccolo, so he decides to unleash androids #17 and #18 to kill them so his plans to kill Goku are not foiled.

D. Story:
Once android #17 and #18 are revived by Dr. Gero, Dr. Gero orders them to kill Gokus friends. Goku friends were following Dr. Gero to his lab to make shore he didn't release the Androids.(regardless to say it didn't work) the andoids Android #17 kills Dr. Gero and Android #18 awakes a new android called #16, Dr. Geros son who he revived by turning him into a android. The androids decide Gokus friends are not worthy of their time, so they leave in search for Goku, however Goku is bedridden with a virus Future Trunks predicted. Vegeta follows and challenges the androids to a fight. #18 soon defeats Vegeta, causing Piccolo, Trunks and Tien to interrupt her and save their friend. However, #17 joins her and all the warriors are defeated with the exception of Krillin, whom they explain their aim is to kill Goku. Furious for not being able to defeat the androids, Piccolo requests Kami (a god of there world) to fuse their bodies so that he can defeat them. Meanwhile, Bulma told trunks about
