Dreamworks Animation
DreamWorks Animation is an innovative creator of blockbuster animated films. The animation studios develop and produce high-quality animated films using state of the art technology. DreamWorks Animation established itself in the entertainment industry and helped popularize computer-generated animation.

In 1994, Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg, and David Geffen founded DreamWorks SKG in Glendale, California. DreamWorks Animation is a subsidiary of DreamWorks SKG entertainment production. Today, the CEO and Director of the Board is Jeffrey Katzenberg; the Chairman is Roger Enrico, and the Chief Financial Officer is Kirstina M. Leslie. DreamWorks's key members have years of industry experience; Steven Spielberg is one of the most well-known names in Hollywood, Jeffrey Katzenberg was the former chairman of Walt Disney Studios, and Kristina Leslie previously served as Viacom's Director of Financial Planning. DreamWorks employs 1200 workers in many different sectors, along with a team of 200 technologists, one of largest and most experienced crews in computer-generated animation.

To date, DreamWorks has created eight highly successful films including Antz, Shrek 1 and 2, Shark Tale, Chicken Run, and The Prince of Egypt. The movie characters have found personalities in that of Hollywood's top actors including Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, Eddie Murphy, Will Smith, Robert de Niro, and Angelina Jolie.
DreamWorks's innovative technology and outstanding performance have led to many awards and accolades. Shrek 2 is the 3rd highest-grossing movie of all time. Shark Tale has recently been nominated for the Oscar for Best Animated Feature. Shrek was the first-ever winner of an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. Shrek 2 is also the number 1 animated film ever. Shark Tale is one of the Top Grossing Films of 2004.
