Dress Codes Research Paper
Naked and Equal Dress code is one of the most famous debates of all time; many girls have come forward and are using social media to address the sexism throughout schools. Dress code is also the one-thing students hate dealing with every day, but yet the most enforced policy at every school around the globe. These dress codes share one common link, which is a bias towards the boys. Boys have come to school breaking one of the few rules that are put on them, and they are not punished. The girls fighting for equality within these codes are not fighting to wear bikinis to school; they are fighting for their own rights as a human being. This will replace the long list of rules on the dress code to just one, no clothes. Administrators will have to strongly enforce this rule, and if they do come to school with clothes on they are to be sent home. In other words, if a student breaks dress code, they will be punished. Their gender will not matter in this environment because new dress codes. Correspondingly, this also breaks the sexism quota in the dress codes enforced in our school systems today. Something equally important to address is the children who are uncomfortable with doing this at first. Schools may allow them to wear their underwear at first and then they must transition to fully nude. Another important key complaint is the weather. The students will be allowed to wear coats and sweaters to school when the weather is cold. Likewise, they will also have to find time for themselves to change out of the jackets. The students will not be punished for wearing a coat in the morning, but they will be if they are seen with it on throughout the day. This will work because the human body is something that many are very private about, but as time goes on you learn not to care. We need more body awareness, and to help students feel more comfortable with their bodies, and this will encourage a boost in self-esteem.
