Dress Codes Unfairly Target Girls
Do school dress codes unfairly target girls? Are the girl dress codes stricter that guys? These are two questions i ask myself as i walk down the halls of my school. In my opinion and personal experiences, girls are treated unfairly when it comes to dress codes. It is time for the rules to be set straight and set equal to the guys. Girl dress codes limit their wardrobes more than guys. Therefore girls get called out for it more. "I've never seen a boy called out for his attire even though they also break the rules." Over half of public schools have a dress code, which frequently outline gender-specific policies. Girls are also mistreated ad looked at differently in school.
