First of all, how did he start taking drugs? Many studies have been conducted to know the reasons behind the teenage drug addiction. Some of the common reasons suggested by them include peer pressure, learning or emotional problems, affection of their friends , or distressing situations. Same with these teenagers, Peter had same problems behind. Peter tried to take drugs in order to make up for bad circumstances in his life, while others do it in order to fit in with his friends. Moreover, Peter’s parents have a long working hours, so Peter always feel alone and distress.
After trying to take drugs, there were some changes in Peter’s life. For example, Peter always felt tired in school. It affected his examination results and studies. Furthermore, as the drugs are expensive, Peter needed to spend much money on buying the drugs. The drug also creates different types of excitement both in the body and mind, caused his friends and classmates were afraid of him.
Fortunately, he got help from his friends and social workers. He was suggested to join some activities in the rehab centers by the social workers. These centers provided some exhibitions and extra cares in order to help him through the addictions. Also, his friends tried to listen and give supports to him. Therefore, Peter got many happiness from everyone around him. And the most important thing is that he got more time to get along with his parents.
