Thesis statement: Drug and alcohol abuse is very common in pretty much any area you are in. The most interesting thing to me is that when you have any type of addiction it is a mental process that your brain actually controls, which makes you want and need the substance at any point.

I chose to paraphrase my example.
This article gives facts and reasons as to why you should never turn to drugs as the answer. The article gives reasons and care ideas for a person living with an addiction.
