What I see as the biggest challenges young adults face today
1. 1 General purpose
The objective of the speech is to dissect the inherent problems confronting the young adults in the contemporary society.
Specific purpose
The specific purpose for this speech is to contribute to an overall understanding of the circumstances that have left the young adults very vulnerable to these problems.
Central idea
In the contemporary society, the youth continue facing many problems that hinder their personal development and interfere with their lives significantly.
Title
The many challenges young adults face today vary greatly from peer pressure, to family issues and drug use or abuse. These are some of the difficult choices facing parents and young adults daily and ought to be dealt with.

B. Not being able to maintain academic success
C. Lack of motivation
We have yet to settle down and truly comprehend young adult’s relationship hardship, not being able to maintain academic success and lack of motivation from their families.

1. Young adults face the problem of increasing drug and alcohol abuse in the society.
2. Unemployment is another problem the young adults faces today especially after the global economy turn down.
3. All stakeholders need to take active roles in addressing these challenges.

1. Because of the demands and frustrations in the contemporary world, many young adults find themselves engaged in excessive alcohol consumption and drug abuse.
2. Easy availability of the drugs and ineffective legislation governing alcohol consumption has made the drugs easily available to the consumers, which has aggravated the drug problem.
