So we need to make the dangers more noticeable so they will most likely not do it. Also teenagers do it because of peer pressure or they think its cool so that drives them to doing drugs. The best approach to keep this generation from using drugs is have parents be there for their teen when he needs to get out of a bad situation, Get to know your teen's friends and their parents on a first name basis, Keep connected in the after school hours, Talk to your teen often about drugs, Ask questions when your teen makes plans to go out, and Get your teen involved in extra-curricular activities. Schools are also a part in this, they need to start cracking down more on drugs. If a teen has already started drugs and they are hooked then they can seek for help of trying to stop. There parents should be able to help there teen through this no matter what. The teen can find something else to do to keep his mind off drugs until after so long he wont even worry about trying to take them anymore. Schools, parents, and the government are all held accountable. Most schools haven’t really cracked down on drugs. Schools need to have more drug searches, and maybe we wouldn’t have such a drug problem in school. Parents need to know more about there teen, have them join an extra curricular activity, keep connected in the after school hours, and get to know your teens friends and parents. Cocaine can be snorted, injected and even smoked in some forms of the drug. In all cases cocaine is a strong central nervous system stimulant which affects the brain's processing of dopamine.
