This new class of drugs is something that has been around for over 100 years but was never abused like it is now. This horrible drug is the prescription drugs. Ten years ago parents would never think they would have lock there medicine cabinets from there own children, but in the past five years teenage drug use and prescription drug use has sky rocketed. The age of first drug use has gotten younger and the amount of use in teenagers has increased vastly. The most commonly abused prescription drugs include Vicodan, Norcos, Percocet, Endocet, Magnacet, Lortab, Oxycontin, MS Contin, Roxinal, Fentanyl, Valium, Xanax, Soma, and different Anti-Depressent pills.
