symbol’s in the story because it represents the army as one and i say this because when the drum is played it is making the army get fired up.if slow they would be scared .if played fast they would be too overconfident could refer to my life because if i heard a drum playing loud and slow i’d be terrified out of my life.if i heard drums playing fast i would be to excited.
