The Crocker is one of the main sources in the Sacramento area for the study and appreciation of fine art. The Museum offers art exhibitions, programs and events to showcase its collections of Californian, European, Asian, African and Oceanic artworks and international ceramics. The Crocker Art Museum offers many outreach programs in the Sacramento community including internships, volunteer opportunities, student and community exhibitions and scholarship art projects (Crocker). In the past Sacramento State and the Crocker Art Museum came together for an evening showcasing called, “U-Nite For Art.” Most attendants were Sacramento Students where they enjoyed live music, theatre performances, photography, design, art, film, and digital media presentations (Sacramento). Today, I propose a more permanent partnership between Sacramento State and The Crocker Art Museum.…

The Artventure Centre is in a good location off the highway. It is convenient to enter and leave the Centre. It is easy for those busy parents on the run to drop off their kids and take off to their busy lives. At the Centre they offer many different activities and for different age groups as mentioned above. Eileen and Tina also offer different programs that suit their clients demands. In doing so they try not to be repetitive. Although it is located in a good location off the highway it is not located in an upscale mall so it doesn't have a lot of traffic going through it which they need to have to…

CSVI a - The reason I chose to become an early childhood professional is because I like to be part of the learning process and see how the children benefit from the program we provide. I believe that early education is very important for children and I take a great pride in the work I do every day. With my art education and ability to be very creative, I am able to use it in my classroom and create artistic wall displays, bulletin boards, interesting art projects, and colorful teaching tools for the children in our program. Every day we provide them with paint , paintbrushes ,crayons, scissors ,glues, colorful papers and many more craft supplies and they go to create their own very special piece of art. This is one of many activities in the classroom that helps them to develop variety of different skills they need for everyday life and I get to be part of it. I understand that as their teacher I am a big influence on them and every moment of the time they spend in the school and I provide them with loving and positive environment. Every day, while they are away from their families, they get to spend a day filled with learning carefully planned fun activities, and I am very happy to be a part of that. At the end of every school year I’m pleased to see all of our students to move on to the next level of their education and I’m proud that I was able to help them learn basic skills and prepare them…

I also encourage children to be creative. Children should have access to materials such as markers, crayons, paint, pencils, and paper. By having these materials accessible will allow them to explore and be creative. I play many types of music including music in different languages.
