The industrial revolution was a fascinating period during the 1760s to 1830s. The economy was growing rapidly as well as urbanization. People found jobs and education in the city. The industrial revolution played a crucial part in changing our world. Urbanization changed the society in England. Many farmers feld to the city to work in factories. New classes formed such as the middle class and the working class. People who are rich can get many goods in the city. Houses were designed better and there were many utensils you could buy. Traveling was also improved with a newly invented steam engine that powers steam locomotives. You could get to many places faster and cheaper. Urbanization let many people to cities to work in factories. The factories were overcrowded and very dangerous. Working hours were extreme and the working conditions were unsafe. Many workers were sick, exhausted, or even dead. The industrial revolution is a time for rich people to become richer while the poor stayed the same.
