To be clarinet section leader, it would be a privilege, no, an honor. Being the student leader would be an accomplishment for me. A section leader must stay on top of everything in their section. So if I become clarinet section leader, this will help me be a role model for the incoming freshmen clarinetist.…
The reason I, Terrence Patrick, want to be a leader is because I feel that leading is what I was meant to do. Ever since my sixth grade year I have wanted to be a leader in any organization I could be in. At Meadowbrook Middle School I was the trombone section leader for two years which were my seventh and eighth grade years. I felt that with myself in charge of the section I would do everything in my power to better it and make it successful. I also was the president of the “Safe Ambassadors” program where I had to control and lead the group of individuals to mentor younger students. These things have encouraged me to audition…
It is a great opportunity to learn more about being a leader. 2. What makes you an ideal candidate for this position? What makes me an ideal candidate for this position is I am dependable and responsible.…
I would like to audition to be section leader because I am very outgoing and I love to help people in the best way I can. I also would like to audition for section leader because I feel it will help me become better as a person to show me leadership, and friendship. I feel I am a strong leader because I listen to what people have to say but at the same time tell them what they could do to make them better on their instrument. I also welcome everyone. I never single anyone out I will help them and whatever they need to the best of my ability and I will make feel good about asking questions and I would be like great friend if they need someone to talk to im all ears. I feel I can help the program and the music department as a whole is getting us closer and not having people be afraid of the upperclassmen and having all of them be a well-rounded person. Also I could help by having meeting will the class as seeing ha there input is to if their upset with things. I think I should be selected for section leader because I take the time to listen to reach out to kids. Music to me is like baseball to Babe Ruth. Music fills me with happiness and helps me with things when I need it and if I can show kids music is more than just notes and playing them but its emotion and has meaning then I feel I am and could be a great section leader.…
Furthermore, I would be a leader on campus at Villanova. I am a natural leader and I am always focused on goals. As a leader, I work towards helping people achieve their own goals. When people come together to work towards a common goal, amazing things can happen. A true community can only take place when people are working towards common goals. As a swim coach, I get to lead people and be apart on their journey. I try to instil good values and never let them forget to have some fun. At Villanova, I will be a leader and will encourage…
There are very few people who are lucky enough to be a captain of a team. I am one of those lucky few people. On April 12, I had an audition to try out for a Color Guard Captain position. I had been waiting for that day since early February. On April 15th, the captains were announced. I heard my name, looked at Makayla Hurt, she heard her name, and we could not believe it. Over the weekend, I thought what can I do to help improve the team. Well I can improve skill, change attitude for the better, and how will the decision I made along with our coach of me being a captain affect the team.…
I have so many qualities to offer for a SET leader position. I am very energetic so I will be able to make sure that they are excited to learn about Kappa Delta. I am open and understanding which will make sure that the PNMs feel comfortable and like they have someone…
Since I have been in this band, I have grown as a musician learning to read treble clef from playing baritone and also from guitar. This allows me to be able to read every sections music. I believe this is a great help because when each group breaks apart and does sectionals I would be able to help out every instrument no matter what clef they play in. I cannot wait to guide the new band members, freshman, in their first season of marching band. I will also bring plenty of fun and character to the band. Though my job isn't fun and games I believe in having a good time at all times even while learning and working. That's…
I believe that I exhibit leadership skills in school, both in class and on the hockey field, which has helped further develop my organizational and leadership skills. Preparatory school has marked a few of my significant leadership roles, such as being voted class representative for three years, being picked as a library prefect in year four, and finally chosen by teachers to a prefect in year eight. I have also been captain and co-captain of several netball, hockey and rounders teams. I believe that these leadership roles provided a great platform for me to continue to nurture my leadership skills. In addition, I believe that my leadership skills are not just exhibited in school, but also in Church.…
There are many different opinions out there about cheerleaders, many good, and some bad. Some think of them as the girls standing by the football field, but I think of cheerleading as a symbol of all the spirit that we can share, and a token of appreciation toward the team that’s being cheered on. Cheerleading is such a vital part to many sections of the school. If I was chosen to be a captain for the 2013-2014 year, not only would I make sure that any negative opinions were squashed, but the great qualities the squad holds, are emphasized. I have come along way since i started cheerleading. I remember my first day of cheer and how nervous I was to be trying something I’ve never done before, and how inexperienced I was. Throughout the season, I’ve always worked my hardest to pick up new dances, stunts, and cheers right away. Since most of the new girls joining cheer this year have never done cheer before, I find it a privilege to help them grow to become the best they can be athletically, and with their attitudes. I think an important quality of being a captain is always, always, including everyone! I feel like i dedicated my time to be the best cheerleader i can be and also the best person i can be for myself and i have accomplished it, but im not finished yet. I learn new things everyday, you learn in the process. I want the new girls to be the best they can be, i think i can really help them. Actually, i know i can. It's super hard to be confident and i learned that but i built up my confidence i want these girls to experience their first year of cheer and be like "wow". I've discovered myself in so many ways, i want the new team to do so as well. Cheeleading is something im very passionate about and i just want the world to know that. I know my schedule for the next school year will be a problem considering i might not be able to have cheer sixth period, but i will try my hardest to work something out. I need a chance. I…
I would like to try out for a leadership position in the band, also known as field commander. I understand that this requires maximum dedication and hard work throughout the year. It is my responsibility to put that into action and consideration for my fellow band members and staff. Putting everybody first will be my intention in all occasions.…
I should recieve this postion due to my high leadership skills, manager skills that I have learned while being employed, fast-paced thinking for certain situations and my ability to maintain proper patience and social communication skills to help with any situation that rises in the battalion. I am highly motivated and very determined in ELLA (East Lee Leadership Academy) and will have no problem to help motivate cadets to not only have proper skills needed for their high school year, but to also become open-minded and organized individuals.…

There are many reasons why I feel I would be the best candidate for the job of commissioner. Throughout my freshman and sophomore years, I have enjoyed all the activities such as spirit days, guest speakers, and more. I realize the amount of detailed work required to bring about all of the events. I would like to play a larger part in TL High School and the activities going on throughout the next two years of my high school experience.…
