I even found myself pacing before my employee entered the room and waited until the end of the day so that he would leave the job site after our conversation. From the advice offered in the textbook, the two strategies that I think would be most beneficial to me would be to develop and practice communication competence, and seek assistance from others. I have always believed that practice makes perfect, so in order to gain experience and grow I should develop a stronger competence for communication and practice it often. On the other hand, I admire many individuals and value their feedback, so reaching out and seeking feedback and help from others is something that I am comfortable doing and will help build communication
