A View of the Future Essay

Evolution of Technology
When observing society, it is almost impossible to find a single person who does not some sort of technology. This is not a bad thing but rather a way of showing how the 21st century is evolving and relies on technology more than anything else. It is quite fascinating to compare life in the past to the life that is lived today and, furthermore, the life that will be lived fifty years from now. For example, typewriters could be compared to a modern day computer, lap top, or, even more recent, an I Pad. Based on the technological advancements made in the past ten years, life in the future could be something similar to that of Panem, the capitol in The Hunger Games. The skyrocketing of cell phone usage and the reliability on electricity are two factors that show big steps toward the future.
In modern times, it is a rational speculation to say nine out ten teenagers own a cell phone of some type. It is also within reason to say that cell phone use has doubled in the past ten years and will most likely double again ten years from now. Teens nowadays are much more tech friendly than their parents due solely to the fact that they have been surrounded by technology ever since birth. Also, the human brain learns much quicker when it is young. During those early years, it is important for teens to learn skills such as responsibility and good communication. As cell phone technology continues to advance, the human race will eventually use a cell phone for just about anything.
Humans of modern times, rely on electricity for just about everything. Whether it is a microwave, computer, or even just lights, electricity is the most relied on utilities of twenty-first century life. Without electricity, many people would not be able to survive. For instance, men and woman of older times would have made light from a fire or candles; nowadays, an assumption could be made that
