In a dystopian story, society itself is typically the antagonist; it is society that is actively working against the protagonist’s aims and desires. This oppression frequently is enacted by a totalitarian or authoritarian government, resulting in the loss of civil liberties and untenable living conditions, caused by any number of circumstances, such as world overpopulation, laws controlling a person’s sexual or reproductive freedom, and living under constant surveillance. People that live in a state as this one have to love the society or hate it by the force a leader with good of a much power could ruin a life forever. With a perfect world it can have humanity to its fullest joy by having peace, safety, technology to there everyday life. Never would they know that it could change in a instant, with the technology and safety could make it very forceful by one person it would be a world you will never want to be.
When citizens value an easy life to much, the society can become a dystopia that blindly follows rules. In The Lorax, people buy air and don’t care about pollution at all therefore one day all that they have will make the world even worst. People don’t care for there community, the filth and dirtiness. The society will get ruined by all the trash, that will cause pollution. As another example, In the movie Wall-E, humans ride around in hover cars all the time and have food, drinks, communication of their demand. People in this society are all very lazy to just do stuff for themselfs. Obsitity will happen in this society because there will not be any exercising at all for anyone! Furthermore, In I-Robot, all of the citizens have robots that work for them. The robots care for the children, clean, cook, and run errands. Robots are taking over what people do for there everyday life. Machines can take over while the society has to stay frighten the whole time. People who dont care how they live, live in a dehumanized
