Some of the aspects that a EBP leader should enable are being able to form a PICOT appropriately, ability to search for the best evidence, performance of critical appraisal of evidence, deciding how best to implement the evidence, evaluate outcomes, and share the knowledge. Another area that the EBP leader could help is developing a EBP mentor position. Having a mentor for staff to reach out to would be very helpful.
