Ear Bender Analysis
The gut listener was an unanticipated device that was discussed in the video. I hope that it will inspire people to listen to their gut more before making any rash decisions.
The ear bender is a wearable electronic that can be used to enhance active listening. If two people took turns using this wearable electronic their conversation would be superior to an everyday conversation. Kate Hartman and her wearable electronics art was very thought-provoking. I would love to try the talk to yourself hat, to hear for myself how I come across to others. On the other I’m almost afraid to find out.

“The Ways of Meeting Oppression”, “Black Men and Public Spaces”, “The Declaration of Sentiments”, “Speech to the Virginia Convention”. The four preceding articles all discuss the obligations of individuals within a society. They go in depth with slavery, Martin Luther King Jr., and their opinions on how everything was going in their time as in slavery. A shimmering glass jar 12 inches high and 6 inches wide, full of blue, green, red, brown, yellow, and orange M&M’s just sitting there waiting to be munched on. Fifth grade, what a year to be in school, everyone's goal was to eat candy and play. Before fifth grade I was homeschooled all my life and never knew what it was like to go to school, so going into fifth grade I didn't know anything other than doing school work and learning. He adduces the arguments to prove we’re losing our listening: to begin with, people invented writing, audio and video recording and so listening lost its premium. What’s more, the world is too noisy our days – visually and auditorily – it’s hard to concentrate on listening someone. Besides, people keep using their headphones in public places and that prevents them from listening to each other. Also now people are starting to use personal broadcast instead of the conversation. In addition, our media gets our attention by some ‘loud’ sensational headlines using the words like ‘shock’, ‘revealed’, ‘scandal’ and that prevents us from noticing what’s understated. This problem is serious because the world where people do not listen to each other is a violent place.…

For example children with hearing impairments may need to use hearing aids which is a piece of technology that allows the child to have enhanced hearing. There are six types of hearing aids open to those with hearing impairments; completely in the canal, which fits inside the canal of the ear and due to this it is easily hidden. Lastly, an open fit hearing aid is a smaller version of the behind the ear hearing aid.
