Early Acceptance Personal Statement

I am applying through the Early Acceptance Program (EAP) through Texas Tech’s Honor’s college. This program was the primary reason I applied to Texas Tech and their honor’s college. I did not prepare exclusively for this program. I studied extensively for the SAT and ACT as if I was applying to some Ivy League schools (primarily Rice). Furthermore, I made it a point of emphasis in my personal education to focus on primarily learning material, as opposed to memorizing it for an exam and forgetting it later. I have shadowed in a clinic and a hospital multiple times and I currently work in a psychology lab researching moral dilemmas.
