An increasing intensity in the earthquake is happening in and out of our country. As response to this event, our school conducted an earthquake drill during the 1st quarter of 2014. This was done to refresh the pupils on how they do when there is an earthquake. The activity was done at 9:15 in the morning of July 22, 2015 which was headed by the school disaster risk reduction coordinator. All pupils participated in the drill from pre-school to grade six, including the teachers. The bell rang continuously for about one minute to signify the alarm for the disaster. The participants acted the way were expected to respond. All pupils performed the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” while counting in a minimal voice. As the bell stopped, the pupils went out of their rooms in a single pile. They passed in the designated route going to their respective evacuation areas followed by head counting which was done by the teachers. The assigned rescue team (adviser of each class including some pupils) and first aiders (grade 6 pupils) did their usual routine in case of an accident. The grade 3 adviser was the one who reports the incident and calls the rescue teams from the city and barangay. Fire Drill was also conducted after the earthquake drill. It was participated by the boys of grade 5 and grade 6.nagpasa pasa sila ng baldeng may lamang tubig at Ginawa nila ung ways para maapula ang apoy. The said activity was monitored by the school disaster coordinator with the help of the Barangay Officials. The data contained in the contingency plan were followed and applied during the conduct of the activity.
