The problems being experienced led people into escaping the high Soviet forces in the region by migrating to the west of Berlin. The leaders of the region saw this as a threat and a break off from communism, and this led them to force the Soviet nations into erecting a wall in East Berlin which was called the Berlin wall. However, the people in the region were denied important freedoms such as the freedom of speech, voting as well as traveling especially to the west. Concerning economic matter, the future seemed bright as various economic processes such as employment, production, resource distribution among others were highly improved. However, the region and the people were not at peace since they lacked very important rights and freedoms that still made their lives
