Eating healthy with a busy lifestyle
Good morning ladies and gentlemen. My name is Rajeswari and I 'm here to talk about eating healthy with a busy lifestyle. Healthy eating is an important part of a healthy lifestyle, yet it is often overlooked. As a wellness professional, it’s important to take care of your own wellness in order to maintain the right physical and mental state to help others. When hungry and busy, it’s easy to grab whatever’s closest or whatever sounds tasty at the moment. Unfortunately, the food that sounds best doesn’t always make us feel the best, and the most convenient foods are not often the healthiest. How many of you find it a challenge to eat healthy because you are always running somewhere such as from work to school or from school to another activity? Modern-day life can be extremely hectic. A lot of people feel trapped by their busy lifestyles when they 're trying to eat healthy. After all, who has time to cook when they need to travel two hours each way, pick the kids up from school, and do the laundry? With time running short, you may just head to the drive-thru for a burger to make the day a little easier, but this will do damage to your health over the long haul. For some, eating healthy while living a hectic life seems like impossibility, but you can take a few steps to make it easier for you.
One of the simplest ways to eat healthier when you 're strapped for time is to simplify your diet. You might want to have those fancy curry recipes you 've just learned, but do you really have the time for it? Stick to the basics of what you like, buy them in bulk, and mix those up over the

Michael Pollan informs us that the Western diet of highly processed foods, fast foods, loads of added fat, sugar, salt, and tons of refined grains is not good for our bodies and detrimental to our overall health and well being. Our bodies need many more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains than most people are eating. The overall message of this book is that anyone can nourish their bodies and become healthy if they stay away from the Western diet.
