Ebenezer Scrooge a tightwad from Victorian London who hates Christmas. Generally, people that live in a giant mansion alone tend to get a little grumpy. The giant mansion he lives in is very lonely considering he is all by himself. He keeps it dark and cold because he does not like to waste the money. This would drive me to be a grumpy, mean old man. Finally, there are a surprising ghost that are lurking around his house. The ghost of his old friend, Marley, for example. He is seen walking around the house
at night with his ponderous chain with all of his sins. Marley send three ghost of Christmas Past, Present, and Future to his house. This could lead to somebody being so scared that they would not sleep making him very mean the next day.
The Grinch is a green monster looking thing from the mountains high where Whoville is at the bottom. His living space consists of a cave with a pet, his dog, named Max, keep the place rather tidy for a cave. Knowing that the Grinch is not alone takes a bit of for him being mean because he always has something to take care of and care for. This is the complete opposite with Scrooge. Next, the Grinch hates all the noise of Christmas. But, he is so high in the mountain he can barely hear any of it, but it still makes him mad. Finally, he doesn’t really take kindly to the people of Whoville. But, because he is this high and away from them he can barely see them or see the joy that he hates. Now Scrooge has to hear and see stuff that he hates everyday around those times.
Overall, Ebenezer Scrooge in his lonely mansion is the meanest. Because of him wallowing away from his lonely nights and the always dark and cold home. It makes him grumpy and mean to everybody.
