Edgar Allan Poe's Life Influenced Annabel Lee

Edgar Allan Poe was a very brilliant writer and a poet. He often expressed his emotions in his poems or articles. Most of them were very expressive and had lots of deep thought put into them. A majority of his poems and articles were very sad and dark thinking. He lost many of his family members from tuberculosis. He lost his mother, his foster-mother, his brother, and his wife.
Poe’s life influenced Annabel Lee a lot by making it sad and dark. The reason it was sad and dark is because of his life and how it changed forever when he lost or started losing his wife Virginia Clemm (cousin) and her mother. As well as his brother and his original mother later on, but mainly because he lost his wife and his beloved cousin, Virginia Clemm.
