Learning is a natural ability that is wired into many animals DNA; the way that humans should learn has been debated by the various educators because of the endless ways to teach. Teachers and parents take this matter seriously like Ralph Waldo Emerson in “From Education” and Todd Gitlin in “The Liberal Arts in an Age of Info-Glut” who created essays on education; and Billy Collins in “The History Teacher” entail for then and who wrote a poem concerned with the status of education. These people show what the importance of education is entailing what learning should and should not involve; a teacher should respect and have patience for children; a teacher should also let a child have creativity and lessons of the past.…

Higher education is critical in a developed economy. In most developed countries, education is considered a basic right. Hence the costs of higher education is highly subsidized by governments. This results in a significantly reduced number of students that need to work to pay for their education. The United states is one of the few counties, developed or otherwise, where the almost all the burden of paying for higher education is put on the student. This has certain interesting consequences. One of them is the relatively large proportion of college students working. The increase in tuition in the past decade have cause this to increase even further. In “For Many College Students, A Job (or Two) to Pay Tuition”, an article in the New York Times, DAVID KOEPPEL found that every year, more students were looking for an campus jobs. New York University employed 2000 more students in 2003 compared with previous years. The percentage of college students working has been growing since the 1906s (Stern and Nakata, 1). How this affects students and whether or not students should work therefore have become increasingly important questions.…

Education is important to have with today’s economy in the shape that it is in. However, there are different ways that people define education. Some people believe that to be considered well educated they need to have the top education in the United States, the highest GPA, and the highest standardized testing scores! I firmly believe that your knowledge first comes from the Lord and that he will bless you in whatever area he has for you! There are many examples that we can use to see both sides and not just judging someone as well educated only through grades ad excellence in school.…

"Education", says Aristotle,” is the creation of a sound mind in a sound body". It encompasses in itself the all round development of an individual. The success of spreading education to the widest possible area lies in the way it is imparted. With the ever changing technology scenario, the methods of imparting education too have been undergoing changes. But education itself is an age old process, rather as old as the human race itself. It was man's education through Nature, our greatest teacher, that he learned how to make fire by rubbing stones or invented the wheal to make tasks easier. Education in real earnest helps us in restraining the objectionable predisposition in ourselves. The aims of education have been categorized variously by different scholars. While Herbert Spencer believed in the 'complete-living aim', Herbart advocated the moral aim. The complete living aim signifies that education should prepare us for life. This view had also been supported by Rousseau and Mahatma Gandhi. They believed in the complete development or perfection of nature.…

Many people in the world think that education is an absolutely wonderful thing and that its necessary by all means. Yes it is a good thing and is needed to be more successful but it is not necessary by all means. Education can set you up to be more success and in the long run make more money but also it can take away from the importance of outside experiences and street smarts. As school goes on it even becomes less enjoyable because its more of the things that they believe is what needs to be taught and not what the student is interested in.…
