More and more students have become prisoners of their daily routines. The participation in an adventures trip is a very powerful and effective method to achieve a new level of physical and mental well-being. There was a time when only a few students, who were fond of adventure activities like rafting, were allowed special facilities. But now regular programmers were drawn up in all educational institutions specially schools to persuade as many students as possible. Wherever students and other youth participate in sports regularly misdirection of youthful vigor is much less and the tendency to indulge in indiscipline and mischief is curbed. Trekking, wildlife safari, angling and sport fishing, scuba diving, skiing, paragliding, parachuting, mountain biking, river surfing are all different examples of adventure sports currently in vogue. One become apprehensive about the risk factors at a deeper but very obvious level, every moment of our lives is a risk some way or the other. Can you gain anything without taking any risk? So why can’t we risk a few moments of our lives that can thrill us and enrich our awareness of the world.
There is no age limit for an adventure. Anyone can make nature his/her playground. Adventures are a remedy for societal illness. “We live in a wonderful would that is full of beauty, charm and adventure. There is no limit to the adventure that we can have of only we seek them with our eyes open”. Man cannot discover new oceans unless he had the courage to lose sight of the shore!
