I grew up in the church as a Christian, but not everyone believes in God. On a dollar bill, it says “In God we trust” but not everyone believes that. That obviously is a big one where religion isn’t separated from the rest of society. I believe that we should keep that on the dollar bill because it is the only truth, and proven to be the only truth, but some people would disagree. I think another very blurred line is Christmas. People still celebrate Christmas that don’t believe that Jesus was the son of God. They don’t even know that it was Jesus’ birthday. Why would someone celebrate something that they don’t believe in? That doesn’t make much sense to me. People shouldn’t go out and buy gifts and celebrate a holiday just for fun, if they don’t believe in the true meaning. It is sort of insulting to Christians and other people that believe in God. It think, over all, it is everyone’s choice what they believe and it should be left up to the individual person.
